1974
The Masonic year of 1974 for Lion Heart #673 began when Steve
J, Magyar was installed as W.M. on 116/73, Electric Lodge in
Hamilton Ontario will have its Installation on 1/15/74. The January Social
was to be a potluck dinner on 1/26/74. The cost to be $1.75 for Adults
and 75¢ for children 6-12 with those 5 or under are free.
The stated meeting of 1/25/74 will honor 25 and 50 year Masons of our Lodge. At stated meeting of 4/19/74, Lion Heart Lodge #673 submitted Bro. Joseph Carradine's application to the Ohio Masonic Home.
1975
The Masonic Year 1975 began when Frank W. Magyar, P.M.
was installed for a second time on 12/6/74. With the Installation of Frank
W. Magyar, P.M. as W.M. James R. Spring P.M. took over as Secretary. Bill
Meinke resigned as Secretary so he and his wife can winter in Florida.
The May Social report showed 67 adults with a net profit of $70.47. R.
Wor. Bro. Freitag visited on 6/20/75 and gave us a short Educational Lesson,
The year ended on Nov. 26, 1975 when Charles T. Andrews was installed
as W.M. for the new Masonic Year 1976.
1976
The new Master's first meeting was Dec. 5, 1975 and thus began the Masonic
Year of 1976. At this point in Lion Heart's History George H. Lister P.M.
took over as Secretary.
(Duecker note: I neglected to say that in 1971 Eugene Foley took over as Tyler and served for many years. I'll Try to indicate changes in these positions but often forgotten stations.)
1977
The Masonic Year 1977 began on 12/3/76 when Steve J. Magyar
was installed for a second time as Wor. Master. George H, Lister, P.M.
remained as Secretary and Eugene Foley as Tyler, Joseph G. Johnston was
Sr. Warden and had been Organist.
