1962
The Masonic Year 1962 began on 12/1/61 when W.M, S. Smith turned the Tile
and Gavel" over to newly installed Pro. Clifford Greggs.
The new master was very interested in various types of entertainment for
Bros. and Wives. He chose Friday 1/26/62 for entertainment for men only.
On Friday, February (date obscured) he planned a Dinner and Entertainment
to include the wives, planned for the Bros. and wives to attend the Grotto
Circus, A Dinner prior to Inspection Feb. 9, 1962. John Hardwick was Tyler
and E. A. Kenny, P.M. Secretary. By the end of this year the total membership
dropped to 307.
1963
The Masonic Year 1963 began on 12/14/63 when W.M. C. T. Greggs handed
over the gavel and tile to Harry Watts. John Hardwick
remained as Tyler and F. A. Kenney as Secretary. On January 11, 1963 Pro.
John Hardwick a Charter Member of the Lodge and Tyler for many years was
given an apron and a proper certificate and the title Tyler Emeritis was
bestowed upon him. Hohn Hardwick retired and A. Pete Thomas took over
as Tyler. Whenever John could make a meeting he was welcome to take over
as Tyler with Pro. Thomas assisting him, At the end of the year the total
membership stood at 304, down 3 from last year.
1964

1965
In Nov. 1964 Fred Kramer turned over the Tile to William G, Meinke
thus beginning the Masonic Year of 1965. Edwin Kenney P.M. remained as
Secretary and T, Val Lewis P.M. was Tyler. The new Master's first meeting
was 12/3/64 This was an emergent meeting to conduct the funeral services
for Bro. Steve J. Poros and there were 30 Lion Heart members and 9 visitors
for a total of 39. Wor. Bro. Bill's first stated Meeting Occurred on 12/4/64.
A Petition for the degrees for John W, Boeauf was read, On June 11, 1965
John Hardwick Tyler Em. again took over the sword which' he held until
Asst, Tyler Eugene Foley became Tyler Dec. 9, 1966. Bill's year ended
on Dec-3, 1965 when he passed the Tile to Bro, E, Stute and the Masonic
year of 1966 began.
1966
At this point in time (1966) Lion Heart #673 F.A.&M had 1 past master
in the line and 5 others. Unfortunately as time went on the P.M. in the
line increased until all were P.M.'s except Junior Steward John C. Andreae
and we will hear of him later when he comes W.M. This was a rather uneventful
year,
1967
Bro. E. Stute turned the Tile over to (unknown). At this point in time
Lion Heart #673 is having 4 meetings per month, 2' ' stated and 2 special.
New men in the Line are Robert Gray, J.D. and James R. Spring S.S., Frank
B. Lusin, Jr, Steward Jose h M, Johnson - organist. Thus ended the year
1967 with elections on 11/3/67.
