1950
The Masonic Year 1950 began on 11/20/49 when W.M. Tate turned over the
Gavel and Tile to Clyde
S. Duncan. Clyde was in every masonic body that existed.
Candidates came in 3 or 4 at a time and went on in due time to be raised
to the Sublime Degree of M.M. two at a time, This compares favorably with
Heights 633’s practice. On May 12, 1950 a special presentation was
made to Lion Heart #673 by E. P. Schafer. He presented to the Lodge and
Clyde Duncan accepted the Schafer's Family Bible, it was a timely gift
since Lion Heart's bible needed considerable repair.

very satisfactorily and the Lodge was holding its own in terms of numbers.
The number at the end of the year was 347, up from 199 which was the number
in 1949.
