1921
On April 25, 1921, the first informal meeting of the proposed Lion Heart
Lodge was held in Woodward Masonic Temple with 42 Master Mason’s
present. The meeting was called to order M.W. Brother Frank S. Harmon.
The Woodward Temple Company stated there was a place for Lion Heart in
their temple. It was decided to have the first regular meeting on the
first Friday in May 1921. The officers would be:

Tres. Geo. E. Hess
Sec'y Geo. W. Glick
S. D John H. Kirkpatrick
J. D. Samuel V. Cox
Tyler Edgar C. Ralph
S. S. John H. Graeff
J. S. Ralph K. Johnson
The next responsibility was to write bylaws and Fogle, Kirkpatrick and
Griffin were appointed as a committee to write them and present them for
the brothers to approve.
Sixteen petitions for membership were received, and assigned to committees for investigation. Sixteen Brethren paid the dues of $10.00 each. The first meeting of Lion Heart Lodge was then closed in due form & harmony.
The second meeting of Lion Heart Lodge # 673 was held on May 20, 1921 at 7:30 PM, M.W. Frank J. Harmon, Worshipful Master, presiding in the East. Nine of the sixteen committees reported favorably and the nine were elected to receive the degrees. Seven more petitions were received and committees assigned to investigate them The Lodge was then closed in due form and harmony.
The third stated meeting was held on June 03, 1921 at 7:30 PM. Seven committees reported favorably on their candidates who were then elected to receive the degrees. The lodge was then closed in due form and harmony.
The first special meeting of Lion Heart Lodge # 673 opened in a lodge of Entered Apprentices and four candidates received the degree. That special meeting closed in due form & harmony.
On October 25, 1921 at 7:30 PM with the Grand Master presenting the charter to the Worshipful Master of Lion Heart Lodge # 673, it became an official lodge under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Ohio. Lion Heart Lodge # 673 had finally become a part of the Grand Lodge of Ohio. After the ceremony, the lodge was closed in short form by the Grand Master of the State of Ohio.
